Tasty Burgers

Adapted from the base Hamburger recipe in the Better Homes & Gardens red plaid cookbook.

1 beaten egg
1 tablespoon whole milk
tablespoon catsup
1/4 cup Italian seasoned panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon Coleman's dry mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon (or more) garlic powder
1/2 medium onion chopped very fine
1 tablespoon dried parsley 
1 pound ground beef

Mix everything but the beef together in a bowl until it's a smooth paste, then add the meat and mix carefully with your hands to incorporate the paste into the meat evenly, trying not to overmix. Form however many patties you'd like (small for sliders, big for regular burgers) and cook on a grill or in a cast iron pan.
